About Bernd
As a certified German master craftsman and successful business owner, Bernd Wilke has over thirty years of experience in innovative tile, mosaic and stone installation projects. He established BW Tile Installation in 2005 after moving to Washington, DC from Berlin, Germany. Now serving the greater Charlotte NC region, the company specializes in residential projects, including home renovation and new construction.
Bernd is a skilled presenter, certified instructor in the trade and born networker. He has a passion for the tile profession. From 2020-2023, Bernd shared his expertise as an apprenticeship Lead Instructor at the Craft and Trade Academy in Charlotte, NC.
